Standard Prints
We do our
own standard printing in the studio. The creation process begins with the
original oil painting. The painting, which is created using techniques of
the Old Masters, is professionally photographed by a photographer
specializing in capturing art on film. The film is then digitally
converted, any color correction is done comparing it to the original
painting. We then print on acid-free paper using the
latest printing equipment with archival inks. Each print is inspected by
the artist. It is then signed and placed into an acid-free mat. This is
then placed into a clear plastic sleeve for protection.
All our prints are created in standard
sizes, making framing affordable. We recommend using non-glare glass.

Fine Art Prints
In the early 90’s
cutting age technology in the computer and printing industries led to the
development of new and sophisticated fine art reproduction techniques. As
a result the Giclee’ (jhee-clay) print was created. Derived from the
French word “gicleur”, meaning “spray of ink”, the process begins with an
extremely detailed scan of the original artwork. It is then printed with
high-end printers using millions of droplets of ink per second sprayed
onto archival paper or canvas. This process is supervised by highly
trained technicians and professional colorists, usually artists
themselves. Proofs are sent to the artist, where the best is then
selected. The result is a beautifully exquisite and impressively elegant
fine art print. A giclee’ is the closest thing you can get to the
original!
We print small
quantities in each of our limited editions, usually 95 to 250. Each print is individually signed
and numbered by the artist, accompanied by a signed certificate of
authenticity.
Following is a list of fine art prints available. Special requests for
sizes not shown will be considered.

Crystal Images
Crystal Images are a fine art prints that will
last for decades. The creation process begins with the original oil
painting. The painting, which is created using techniques of the Old
Masters, is professionally photographed by a photographer specializing in
capturing art on film. The film is then digitally converted and the artist
makes a print using acid-free paper and archival inks. Each print is
pulled by the artist. Once it passes inspection it is signed and prepared
for the Crystal Image process.
A wood “box” is then made (open
back) and hand painted. The image is secured to the wooden face and then
treated with a special process which creates the surface of the piece.
This step takes several days, as multiple layers are added, each taking
time to cure. Once completely cured it goes through a final inspection and
then wired for hanging.
